Here is a very good Maggini violin made in France. Length of back is 14 inches exactly. It's a super playing and sounding old fiddle. It's been revoiced to play and sound fantastic. Has a smooth but rich tone that has lots of color and personality. Set up easy to play with Helicore strings, Wittner tailpiece and very nice action.
