Here is a nice old American violin made in Springfield Mass around 1880 or so. There were 80 listed violin makers in 1880 and some were famous. These old New England Violins are very sought after. This one sounds great. Pure, resonant tones with sweetness. This violin has the potential to be worth a good deal. It is made on the Guarneri model. It has the original varnish, one piece back. Good fittings and is set up to play with ease. THIS IS A BARGAIN! HINT HINT.
Take a listen to the soundclip under old fiddle #28.
