A fine sounding and playing old Saxony Fiddle. Circa 1900 Germany. Plays and sounds like a high dollar Violin. No deficiencies in tone at all. Very powerful with great volume and rich high quality tones. It has a very good set up with Prim mediums. It has no cracks and the varnish is original though is has some cool patina on it. A plain back which many Saxony violins have. Has four corner blocks. A well made super sounding fiddle. Take a listen to the sound clip under old fiddle no. 18.
