This is a German nickel-mounted pernambuco bow with an imitation whalebone wrapping. It has been kept well by a recording DC jazz player for several decades and handles nicely.
Metropolitan Music in New York used to market these bows, which were made in the Seifert workshop in Bubenreuth. They were well-made bows and they have held value over time.
