This is a fine old German violin made around the turn of the 20th century. It is well made and shows a higher level of skill than what is found in the typical commercial instrument of the period. The varnish is quite attractive and skillfully applied. The condition is very good, and the sound is powerful, dark, and warm. It has been professionally set up by Maxham Violins.
The violin will be shipped in a lightweight case unless a different model is desired. Bows are available upon request as well.
