I actually received this fiddle May 2021 and it's first outing was the last Doyle Lawson Festival. It has a torrefied red spruce top and torrefied curly maple back. The fit, finish, action and open tone are amazing! These don't come up for sale often and there are several professionals that have them including Mike Hartgrove, Aynsley Porchak, Justen Haynes, Billy Hawks and a few others.
