This is a master grade Herman Lowendall from Berlin, probably 1918-23. It is branded and labeled. It is beautifully made, Wonderful flamed back and varnish, it has fluted "F"s and fine scroll. Great tone and response. However, it has a very well repaired back crack. As a result, I am asking far less than what it would be worth without that repair. In my opinion, it is very stable.
