This a very well crafted violin, likely from Markneukirchen, around 1910. Beautifully made, great woods and varnish, it also has a full and expressive voice. I had a great time playing it when I set it up, very responsive, plenty of volume, and clear, full voice.
A good friend here has asked me to start taking better photos, but it is a struggle up the North Maine woods. If you have Real interest, I will take better pics, of the parts you want to see better.
I feel in a real market in a larger city, this should be $2-3K, but I will sell it for $1200 or best offer.
I have to charge $50 for shipping, as rates have gone up dramatically.
Thank you for your consideration.
