This system is pre-wired and installs in a matter of minutes by mounting the Carpenter Jack, loosening the strings and slipping the thin (.3mm) pickup underneath the treble bridge foot. No modifications to the instrument are needed and it is designed to be used with your existing bridge.

This pickup is passive and a preamp should be used.
