Violin made by Mohsen Shamloo, the “Violin Maker of Tehran,” featured in The Strad magazine. This violin, although not numbered or dated, was made by Shamloo in 2002 and was his second violin. It was played in Tehran’s professional orchestra for several years. Was fitted with Wittner FineTune pegs while there. The maker did some repairs before it came to the U.S. Everything is solid. It was played by its original owner from 2002 until just recently.
