This is a spectacular sounding old violin with a very pure and resonant tone. A deepish tone with lots of color and smoothness. Although I don't know the exact origin of this violin it has some characteristics that make me feel like it is an early American violin made around the 1920's. The wood is very good quality. It is fully lined and blocked and graduated to very good specs. It is set up very well and plays like a dream. It is in very good condition and has no substantial cracks. I will making a soundclip soon so be on the lookout. I don't think this one will last long as the price is very reasonable for the level of tone that this violin produces. I do have a money back guarantee on it if it doesn't suit the buyer.
