I set this fine new Hiroshi Kono up as a fiddle (with normal classical bridge arch). These are hand made in Japan, with varnish by Bill Weaver in Maryland. The setup on this one includes my complete reworking, with neck shaped, new post, reworked bridge, lots of acoustic tweaking, and Prim strings. The tailpiece is a Wittner ultra with fine tuners. A wide range of people play these as backup instruments to their regular performance violins. I think it's a fine fiddle!
