The first part of the tune came from my grandmother. She said there was more to it. I was looking for a high part and got it from Samuel Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle March to the fife. (He collected several versions of this in similar form to what I've played here.) This is played out of GDGD and sometimes I play it in GDAE in D or A. I love a a nice "two string" tune.

Well.... this tune tune goes definitely on my playlist, but then in a much slower tempo! This is real "haunting" to my ears. Thanks for posting!

Anyone who knows me knows that I know music doesn't come from sheet music, but it has been a tool for me that I've used to share/remember/organize/arrange tunes. (I learned to read and use ABC's about 4 years ago) My suggestion: DO NOT PLAY AS WRITTEN! You'll notice that the recording has variations not on the sheet music.
