I had my first OT fiddle lesson - after more than three years of playing, one year with a classical teacher and rest self taught.
It all seems to come together now.
This is the result after one lesson so far.
It is just a short audio example not the whole tune since I am still practising.

Sounds great, Anja! Glad you got your lesson and it sounds like it's all coming together really nicely.

Good work, Anja, but this tune is simpler than you think. Have you ever heard this classic recording by the Morrison Twin Brothers Band: slippery-hill.com/content/dry-dusty-3
And here's a recording of me and some friends playing it, almost 50 years ago now!

Love the doublestops in your playing, Anja! That seems like a newer thing?

Sounding good!

Thanks! I worked hard on this in the past (probably working on everyone's nerves with endless repeatings), but now I am ready to learn more tricks to create rhythm.
