Nice and soothing, Peggy. When I was young, my Mom would listen to a religious radio program while we got ready for church, and this was their theme song, so it really is "dear to my childhood."
I never knew this is a real place (although it wasn't when the song was written!) with an interesting history: littlebrownchurch.org/the-church/history/

Thanks, Doug. Always educational to hear what you know about stuff...the song means a lot to me too...there was a little white church...but that wouldn't sound right...lol...but it was tiny and the only one around, and I love remembering the times and folks from long ago.
