Ok, it is somewhat fiddle related. If I want to subscribe for online lessons or want to buy music or whatever often a paypal account or visa is needed.

My problem with paypal is that I cannot link my bank account number to my current e-mail address because in the past I set up a paypal account with a different e-mail adress that is not in use anymore but the same bank account . Is there a way to fix this? I don't know about visa. It seems like a big step and I should contact my bank for this. If I can't fix the paypal issue there are not many options left.

I want to be able to subscribe to online fiddle classes!

Does paypal have some kind of profile thing or something where you can go in and change info? We used paypal but I don't know much about it...it is a handy thing. Sorry I'm not much help but i hope you can get it changed so you can enjoy some fiddle stuff.

You could:

Start a new email just for fiddling. Then sign up to a new Paypal with that new fiddling email. Link that Paypal to your current bank.

Or

Try to contact Paypal which is total hell. But I had a similar issue and they have the worst customer service. The plus is, it's pretty safe and protected.

Or

Just use your Visa to do these transactions. Just use trusted sites and fiddle lesson providers. Maybe not just Joe-Schmo on YouTube...lol

Good luck and be safe!

If you log in to your Paypal account and select "Account Info" you can edit your email and add an email address. You can even change your primary email address for that account. I would think that would do it.
As far as credit cards, you can get a Paypal debit card that works just like any other card at online sellers who don't accept Paypal, or in the machine at any retailer. Its very handy, although I have to make sure there's money in my Paypal account, since I don't have it linked to a bank account. I like to keep it completely separate.

I suggest trying a test transfer…

I’ll send you a link, Anja.
