This is a Skillet Lickers tune usually done in C. I first heard it a week ago done by James Bryan. Spent a day to two learning his version in standard tuning (GDAE). Then came to the conclusion I just didn't care for it in that high c register. So. knocked it down to F with my usual FCFC tuned fiddle. Spent a lot of time today trying to get rid of room echo/reverb or what the heck seems like a lot of distortion. But, most likely just my crappy playing. I eventually wound up trying to play it more like the Skillet Licker recording, naturally way slower. So, here it is warts an' all and a few extra clunks from my dang bow hittin' the mic stand.

Sounds good, Rich! Not an easy tune to play. Great job. I always bang my instruments into the shelf that holds my coffee cup and my grandson's drum...lol...then the dogs start lapping up water or barking...oh the troubles presonus folks deal with...lol. Hey it does sound good though...nice fiddlin'!
