Very nice, thanks!
Here's another atmospheric crankie that also takes a trip through the seasons: youtu.be/MbPJSOef4NE
Joebob - Did you know Tom Azarian up in Cabot? I think he helped keep this art form alive and inspired Anna and Elizabeth.
Thanks again.

Thanks friends for your kind words... I heard this song on the radio 30 years ago and happend to have my tape recorder going to catch some songs from a folk show. I got this one. It was sung by Martin Carthy. I am sure if you heard him doing it, there will be some differences. I have been singing it for all these years and I guess I probably changed it some. I wrote about learning it and creating the cranky on my blog. TravelingFrontPorch.com. travelingfrontporch.com/2021/0...t-detour/
I am wondering, now that I have broken through into posting a few things on Fiddlehangout, how do I post a video that can be both on the forum page as well as on the "new media" section so that is is listed with all the other videos that come in?
Thanks again
FiddlerJoeBob

Fiddlerjoebob - As far as posting videos, here's my suggestion, although I don't create videos, so others may have better methods.
First I think the video must be on YouTube.
Then, in the Media section of your homepage here there should be a video section, with an option to "Add video." Follow the directions and it should add the video to the video library where it will appear as the newest video, and I think on the homepage of the site too. It will also be added to the media section of your page.
To add it to a forum page you can use the "Attachments" feature (below the reply text box) just as you would for photos or audio files.
Hope this helps. Looks like you may already have done this with "Chugga Chugga."
