The Violin Beautiful - Posted - 05/22/2021: 13:37:17
This is an excellent unlabelled Stainer model old German violin in very god condition. It has one repaired crack on the bass side of the top below the ff and two minor cracks at the ffs. It has been professionally revoiced and set up by Maxham Violins. It has good quality ebony fittings and is very easy to play. The new bassbar has given it greater warmth and depth than ever. It has a set of TI strings with a Goldbrokat E.
Like most Stainer violins, this one has a higher, fuller arch, although it is nowhere as exaggerated, and it’s more tastefully made than the average. It has a velvety and rich, warm tone. It has a commanding G and D with a rich A and E.
This is a real player’s instrument and it stands on its own merit!
It can be shipped in a foam case or a case of your choosing at a good price.
