In my experience with fiddle another cliche, "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail" is just as true. The more i study things in detail, the clearer they become. Technique and knowledge hopefully increase, and less physical effort is needed to achieve a given goal. Thus avoiding frustration, tension and other undesirable stuff.....But it doesn't rhyme like the "Analysis paralysis" cliche..
