Hope Paul doesn't mind, but I just wanted to share here ... I think he's really nailed the old time version of what's going on with Nashville shuffle. He included a lesson in Calico tuning on his tune of the week, over at the Sound off forum...might wanna give it a listen/view.

Hey Peggy - thanks for the heads up on Paul's teaching vid.
And to Paul - Kudos on a really nice discussion. Nashville shuffle gets talked about a lot, but I really like that "long-lazy" gimmick for getting a nice Nashville going.
...and, if that wasn't enough, you gave us an extra bonus on pulsing. Hope you have more stuff like this on the burners.
