I'm going to call this "shopping advice." :) If you're looking around for something enjoyable to do today, check out the "Santa Barbara Old-Time Fiddlers' Festival. It's online from this website -- fiddlersfestival.org -- and there are workshops and performances and contest entries scheduled for most of the day.
I've decided to make a fun time of it, even though I can't be there in person this year. I've baked an apple cider donut cake--that is just waiting to be sliced and eaten with vanilla ice cream--and I have a Chicago pizza in the works. Both are big treats! Just like the music! :)
