Ha! Your screen name is being censored on the forum home page. Also, have you tried The Session dot org where all things Irish trad live?
Here's a link The Session "March of the king...."
They don't have tab though. Maybe someone here would transcribe the ABC notation into tab for you.

Ha,
my username gobs***e is a common Irish term for an idiot -also known as an eejit. Its not really rude; almost a term of endearment.
A couple years ago I was clearing rubbish out my late uncles house. I discoverd a decrepit old fiddle under his bed: body split, sound post ratting around inside, frayed ends of gut strings wrapped around the tailpiece, snapped off peg etc.
I put it on display on a high shelf in my living room as a "hippy chic" decoration. A couple months ago I realised that maybe I can fix it myself instead of "playing" my 50€ chinese fiddle. So I did. It sounds ok, quite loud, the body arch is high - it doesnt fit in my chinese fiddle case.
anyway, the kings of laois is one of my favourite uileann pipe tunes and it just dawned on me it could probably be playued on fiddle -and thats how I ended up here!
Just for info, tis particular Laois is a county in Ireland (not Vietnam) and its pronounced like a dog "leash".
So now, with that nice story, maybe someone can tell me how to convert ABC to violin tabs?
Slainte

yeah, almost, the strings are the same, but mandolin tabs is frets which dont translate to fingers; Ill mess with it anyway to see what I can achieve.
