Anyone have a comment on Andrea Solo as opposed to the Andrea a Piacere?

I am a solo fan. Never used the other, but really like the solo.

I am a solo and Sanctus fan. The solo for wintermonths -more sticky and the Sanctus for spring/summer -is a mixture of dark and light rosin. The Solo is a recreation of Tartini rosin.

Solo is just a touch grippier. But Billy's right, it's good stuff.
I get so i never add rosin just before or during a gig or jam. It seems agressive enough that it's sort of unpredictable when it's freshly applied.

I ordered a half cake of Andrea Solo, and I'll report my impressions,,,
I read that it's the a Piacere that is the recreation of the old Tartini Green, and will probably grab some of that too, sometime.
I'm a rosin collector

oh, a clarification, yes, Solo is a resurrection of Tartini, and the A Piacere is a resurrection of the Tartini Green
