Hi Guys
Attached photos of my stradivarius fiddle.
I believe this is a copy but has a nice back story and engraving on the back with the name Jean Lagrene.
I've done some research and found out that Jean Lagrene was the leader of gypsy band in France who played fiddle. Famous painter Edouard Manet painted him and his band in a painting called the Old Musician.
Roll on to now and I have this fiddle with the little bit of info I could find on it. I'm extremely curious to find out if anyone has more info on this or to possible value etc. I've played it for 15 years or more and was bought in Ireland by my father. Hope you like the Share.
