On almost all my devices I use to access fiddlehangout:
When I click Forums/Active Topics it shows no topics and shows the current time as last visit.
I use apple devices, phone, ipad, laptop, desktop. Not sure which does not do it, but sometimes one of them does not have this happen. So I end up selecting show last twelve hours, two days, etc. to get around it, but it would be nice if this was not happening.

Also, is it set to auto refresh on that page? That could be an issue. I only have that problem on my iPad.

Sometimes it happens to me also. At that time I do as you do and select e.g. 12 hours or yesterday. Before I leave the FHO, or BHO, web site, I reset to "Last Visit" which generally works well the next time I view FHO, or BHO.

Check if you have browser cookie settings set to 'clear on exit'. That might cause that. Or at least I would be looking in that area to troubleshoot that.
