This week's tune is Liza Jane from the playing of William Franklin "Frank" George (1928 - 2017) of Roane Co., WV.

I play with Miles Krassen every week, and he always plays tunes from Frank George that he learned directly from him. So I'll have to spring this tune on him.

Good to hear from you Bruce.. Which reminds me.. Years ago  (MANY) I got to play a along with Frank George on a tune called  "Over the Hill To Maggie."... Three parts..  ..

When the tune is played with TWO parts it is called, "Waynesboro".. Yep.. Many people don't realize that the tune goes way back to Europe...  Check it out sometime..(BTW, Bruce.. gonna' make it to Clifftop?)
