I'm selling off my collection of 78 rpm records, which consists of about 1900 titles. I'm mostly a fan of the country/hillbilly/sacred genres. I decided that it doesn't make sense for me to keep the 78s, so I'm going to sell them and record them before I send them out the door.

I posted a spreadsheet and a README file on Google Drive.  The spreadsheet gives the prices for individual 78's.

The files on Google Drive list the titles and explain how I would like to sell the records. If you have a hard time opening the files directly from Google Drive, just download them and open them using Word or Excel.

For my fellow country/hillbilly/sacred fans, here's a partial list of some of the artists represented in the 78's:

Picard Family, Stamps Quartet, Monroe Brothers, Delmore Brothers, Blue Sky Boys, Arthur Smith & Dixieliners, Riley Puckett, Blue Ridge Gospel Singers, McFarland and Gardner, Kanawha Singers - Hopkins & Buckle Busters, McCravy, Buell Kazee & Sookie Hobbs, Barnes & Blue Ridge Ramblers, Dixie Sacred Quartette , Goodman Sacred Singers, Nicholson's Players, The West Virginia Rail Splitter, Virginia Possum Tamers, Tanner, Puckett, Skillet Lickers, Van Eps, Smith's Sacred Singers, Blue Ridge Highballers, Allen Bros, Burnett & Rutherford, Leake County Revelers, Chris Bouchillon, McMichen's Melody Men, Cumberland Mountain Folks, Sons Of The Pioneers, Bailes Bros, Bill Monroe & Blue Grass Boys, Stanley Bros & Clinch Mt Boys, Little Jimmy Dickens, Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, Karl & Harty, Roy Acuff, Chubby Parker, Fiddlin' Doc Roberts, Cumberland Ridge Runners, Wenatchee Mountaineers, Pie Plant Pete, Carter Family, Prairie Ramblers, Coats Sacred Quartette, Clayton McMichen, Kitty Wells, McMichen's Georgia Wildcats, Grandpa Jones, Mainers Mountaineers, Martin & Roberts, Hank Williams, Boyd and Cowboy Ramblers, Henry Whittier, Simmons Sacred Singers, Bela Lam & Green County Singers, Sons Of The Pioneers, Charlie Jones And His Kentucky Corn Crackers, Sprague, Stoneman & Dixie Mountaineers, Georgia Yellowhammers, Jimmie Rogers, The Moonshiners, Whitney Brothers Quartet, Sweet Violet Boys, Smoky Mountain Sacred Singers, etc.

Mark, it is funny what age does. Some things do not mean what they once did in that changing frame of reference. I too am considering downsizing my collections of stuff.

I'm afraid $999,999. is a bit rich for my blood. Maybe you should attempt to contact the LOC or some of the other archivists.

Hey Bob - yep, de-cluttering (or dostadning; my wife is of Swedish stock). I wasn't playing the 78's, and I'm recording the 78's before I ship them out. I'm learning about the pseudonyms that some people used on the old recordings. Turns out that I have recordings of Ben Jarrell, Red Fox Chasers, Riley Puckett & some others under pseudonyms that I didn't connect with the actual artists.

Hey Brad -  I had to enter a price to post the ad here on FHO, so I posted $999,999 ...... the collection is nowhere near $999,999.  I posted a spreadsheet on Google Drive that lists the prices, which range from $2 to about a dozen that are over $50.   Thanks for the comment... I think I'll change the ad price to $2 to avoid confusion.
