I was looking at the D'Addario tension specs for Helicore, and noticed, that the tension for
Helicore Light A is 11.7 pounds (aluminum)
Helicore Medium A is 12.7 pounds (aluminum)
Helicore Medium A Titanium is 12.2 pounds
they don't make a light gauge Titanium wrap
so the Titanium A is right in the middle of the two tensions, a true medium/light, as 'twere,,,as well as being longer lasting, as it is said here, as well as many other things about Helicore being said here,,,,,
this for your interest,,,and also,
the Helicore Heavies show tensions equal to tensions of other Heavy Gauge strings in general, though the feel may indeed be different, the diameter being smaller, and other intangible factors,,,

I just got some Helis for the first time (medium). Only had them a few days but I'm loving them more and more. Surprisingly "mellow" (not mellow exactly... But surprisingly "less harsh") than I expected on my loud and bright fiddle. My teacher and jam friends say the A's always break before the others go bad. I plan to get a titanium A soon. Allegedly the whole set will last "forever" with it.
