I am considering purchasing a fiddle made by Nuner & Hornsteiner. Anyone know anything about the quality of their instruments. I can't seem to find much on the net.

They can be quite nice, and certainly can have some value. Mittenwald was a good place to be from if you were a violin, all part of the Klotz/Kloz traditiion. Like anything else, play it and lots of other instruments. If it has a sound you like a lot and you can afford it, go for it, life's short. I have a really beat up one, that has no value at all(due to it's condition, see some pictures on my page), but sounds really good. The perfect instrument for me. Good luck, if you decide to get it, we'd love to see pics.
