Can any one tel me any thing about an older Karl Kniling Violin. This would be for a beginner player. I just want to make sure she starts a good violin.

No way to do that without having it in hand.

Find an experienced player/luthier and have them test it out in person. Or else buy from a shop that specializes in such things.
