Haven't found any reviews on this fiddle. Has anyone had any experience with this one?

I don't know about the 500, but I have a 350 that I bought in 2003 to learn on. It is a pretty good fiddle for me, but I think it is a bit too harsh, so I've mostly played it with Tourte mutes plus a wire mute for most of the time I've had it.
You can hear some of my scratchings on my PricklyPearMusic.net site - but you must take into account that I've only played around on it attempting to learn, so the tunes aren't that polished. I recently got the fiddle my brother had in Florida for years (he's moved to England).
My Palatino came from Musician's Friend as a set; fiddle, bow, case and rosin for $90US.
