Just adding my voice to those who have had pleasant and satisfying experiences purchasing a fiddle from Royce. As portrayed, effortless payment and shipping, AND..... his concern that his customer is satisfied!
I'm pretty sure my Violin Acquisition Syndrome is in full remission since my recent purchase, if, however, it ever rears its ugly head again, I'm certain Royce will be my first choice for treatment.

Hello all. I would like to add to the good words for Royce Burt. One issue for amateurs is discouragement or lack of motivation because bad fiddles are being played. Since getting this Royce Burt fiddle, less than a month ago, my playing has greatly improved. I now enjoy doing scales because each note sounds so delicious. I have been burned by my naïveté in the past and have a few fiddles that cost more than they are worth. So this time, because I did not want buy over the net, my wife and I visited Royce in Plant City while we were vacationing nearby. Royce must be a busy guy with his regular job, his fiddle fixin, fishing etc. but he still had the time to show us a dozen fiddles and some fine bows.
Long story short, I purchased one of Royce’s new Chinese fiddles. He says he likes them because he has better control in what he is trying to achieve.
I did have a chance to play a few expensive fiddles since this new purchase, and while I was a bit rushed at the time, none of them seemed as nice as this Royce Burt fiddle.
If any fiddler in the Ann Arbor Michigan area wants to test this bad puppy out in exchange for playing a few tunes together, let me know.
