If you do a search of Kennedy Violins, there are a number of posts.

I have two of their fiddles, my main fiddle is an "Antonio Giuliani" I bought from them a little over three years ago.

It runs a little over 700 bucks on their web site. I am really happy with it and have tried a number of fiddles since and I really never felt a need to "upgrade" at all. It's a really nice instrument. I honestly don't think I will ever need a better acoustic violin then this one. It's broken in very nicely in the last 3 years and has served me well.
My other Kennedy is the less expensive Ricard Bunnel G2 I bought used awhile back from a forum member. It's a really decent instrument for the price, and If someone asked me my recommendation for an inexpensive "starter" fiddle, I would recommend the Bunnel G2.
From my experience, Kennedy's set up is good, and their service is top notch. When I bought my Antonio Giuliani, they emailed me pics of ones they had in stock and let me pick one, and asked what I was looking for in a fiddle, setup, etc. They even called me a week or so after delivery to make sure I was happy with the purchase.
I would order from them again, without reservation. Good company, IMO.

I live about 2 miles from them. Good people, and fiddle friendly. I haven't played many of their violins, but their head luthier's benchmade fiddle was great, and had excellent craftsmanship

Been considering a Bunnel Electric Violin from Kennedy Violins. Am acoustic player looking to try my hand at electric and hopefully ramp up some fun for my violin students. Any input on the Bunnel or other electric violins to consider.
