I transcribed and transposed the fiddle introduction to the banjo, so that banjo players could cover the whole melody.
Here, in this version of the arrangement, I have turned on the music notation of the vocal melody AND the intro fiddle melody that the banjo plays in my arrangement...
Hopefully, one of the skilled fiddle players/writers/arrangers can come up with a fiddle solo using this arrangement for a guideline...

Although it is generally played in Am our band does it in Bm. If you are wanting to play in AM just cross tune GCgd and use the same fingering.
You will see notation for 2 guitars. This is how our band plays it. |
