Sound

Good full sound - not super loud -good volume and alive
very playable!
well, it makes fiddle sounds - it rings, and there is a beautiful eveness all up and down the range. Very nice, very playable for a student fiddle. Even if I am not really a student - but needed an affordable fiddle out yonder! I will give it and 8 - because there are more expesive fiddles out there - but it is fine for most anything!
I haven't amped it, or done wired sounds/effects. It's acoustic fiddle playing alone and in jams - no problem being heard -

I like it - it's solid, the bow that came in the 'kit' is one of my better ones. (carbon fiber, horsehair) feels like wood -
(case, rosin,bow)

Setup

Wasn't set up -(it was shipped over to the desert - bridge needed to be set up - all strings were on it and soundpost in)
The case (hard, covered, and zips - 2 bow holders & accessory box)
is really a good stable case (hand or shoulder strap inc)

I had it reset up when I moved to desert/ mtn (reno, NV) area - climate/humidity difference
(@- 50.00 - here)
pegs were slipping a little - bridge fix
(Az desert not real kind to wood instruments)
(I played a lot! -But this thing ROCKS! amazing to play, no trouble. no warping or cracks yet -
