For a 1/8 violin, it sounded okay for my daughter to use. |

Setup
|
The chin rest ended up hurting my daughter, so Cindy at the Pickin Porch changed it out for me for free. Make sure a chin rest does not bother a child before buying them a violin. The rest of the set up was good.

Reliability
|
The fiddle was dropped about 20 times by my kids and it has done fine. However, the stock bow was junk and began falling apart immediately. I still can't figure out why three hairs fall off of it per month. It has been a slow decay. The fiddle has always tuned easy and stayed in tune. |

It worked good for my daughter, so I've been satisfied with it. The instructor was always okay with it. |
