Really comfortable! Guy brought it over so I could check out - wanted 2nd fiddle for teaching/lending
Needs new strings, and new bridge (it was his learning fiddle for many years)- wonderful to hold, definitely plays evenly all up and down the range - no weird tones |

Setup
|
Looks easy to reset -- used, it came playing and simply needs my own preferences - no nicks or cracks - Pretty nicely solid! Case is a great old school HARD case - no frills, great for traveling! haven't done it yet, did go jamming with it -just needs tweaking with strings and bridge) |

Yes indeedy! 100.00 was fine for this - Anton violins have a good rep, and this was well taken care of and loved - (case has a plate that says Anton Breton) (I got it with nice brazilwood bow, good camber, horsehair in great shape and frog tensioning turner worked - played right off - Resonans shoulder rest, rosin, (for a used, it's always smart to get a free shoulder rest thrown in! It came playable and held tuning!
New strings and a bridge and this will be a solid sweety for cross tuning or twin fiddling - |
