Here is the latest and greatest news about Augusta Heritage Swing Week.  This is a wonderful music vacation that you won’t want to miss.

An update to this youtube video is that Katie Holmes, a vibrant young swing and jazz fiddler from Texas, has been hired to teach fiddle (see below for bio)

• This is a one of a kind swing camp for both musicians and dancers in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. 

The Special Guest Master Artist for Swing Week Johnny Gimble,
the Western Swing Fiddle Legend, will appear with support from NEA and Darden Restaurants Foundation.  Johnny, as you know, was a member of Bob Will's Texas Playboys and has recorded and performed with everyone from Willie Nelson to Paul McCartney. Even if you don't play the fiddle you will become a better musician just spending time with Johnny in Augusta's supportive, musical and fun atmosphere. Come spend Swing Week at Augusta and add your name to Johnny's resume of people he's played with.  Johnny’s son Dick, a really fine Texas Swing musician, will be there too.
