I found an old recording from Brandywine 1986. It's got a set on it by The Uncles, a band founded by Mac Benford and Rick Good. It mentions two other people by their first names and I wonder if anyone knows who they are. Woody & June.

Could June be June Drucker?

What's the instrumentation? I'd say probably June Drucker and Woody Woodring. I can ask Mac.

Your probably right. Sounds like Fiddle, banjo, guitar and bass. Would be nice to know for sure though.

Ok, Mac replied to a FB inquiry I made and yes, The Uncles were Mac Benford, Rick Good, June Drucker and Woody Woodring.

The recording I came across from Brandywine has them performing Uncle Dave Macon tunes for the most part. Cool stuff!

I suspect that any recordings by The Uncles are rare. Here's the short set I came across. Enjoy!
