Idealy it would look like the violin in"The Red Violin".  Something old, could have defects+, aged, bow messed up.  Where do I find if not from y'all/.  I would not enjoy buying one that someone, somewhere could utilize.  It is for Display in L. try the violin shops they may be able to find you some junk fiddles that will work and surly a junk bow ask a round your in LA try So cal. violin shop

Yeah.... I think it's pretty common for violin shops to have a junk pile of fiddles that have problems that would cost more to fix correctly than the fiddle is worth.  I think they sometimes use them for apprentices to practice repair on.
