it takes time to learn were to place your fingers if you play guitar it should be easyer for you to learn i think you said you played guitar that should help |

Thats the hard part. is the fingering. and the bowing.and the placement of the violin.and the wrist movement, and finding the notes, and the rosin placement. after all that its easy as pie.........lol.;[) |

Great progress, Jimmy. Comment: were I your teacher, I'd encourage you to bow from your elbow, not your shoulder. Practice some longer, slower bow strokes to gain flexibility in your elbow, and then ultimately your wrist. Keep up the good work; you're on the start of a wonderful journey.
