I worked this out from the Melvin Wine recording.  When you go into AEAD, this cool little tune really plays itself.  A feature of this tune is the accenting with "pulsing" double up bows.  Listen for it, it happens in purt near every phrase.  Hope you like the tune!

Melvin's style really points back to a way earlier time. Folks who knew him in his twenties said he tried to play as many of his dad's tunes as he could, and "Bob Wine's Tune" is a good example of the early way of playing from that part of WVA.

I've been looking at Mr. Wine's Going Down to Georgia O from YouTube. I don't have it yet, but I'm fascinated by what he's doing with the bow.

Thanks a lot, you guys! I really appreciate the kind words. I'm a huge Melvin fan and have been on a mostly-Melvin kick lately. His tunes are a lot of fun to play, and are usually pretty straightforward, bowing-wise. I'll definitely share the next Melvin tune I work out with you guys. Lots of great ones to choose from...
