Visiting from the Banjo Hangout to share some news:

OK FOLKS! You heard it here first: The Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival has made a meeting point available to all the Hangout members (Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Mando, Dobro, and whoever else is out there). We have been invited to meet at the Slow Jam tent on Thursday and Friday morning between 10:00 and 11:30am. The next event of the day begins at 12:00 and folks are welcome to stay until then or move to another area if they strike up a friendship or something.

 This is a festival first and if it works I can see other festivals adding a point and time for the online community to meet up. It's just another service they can provide to make the experience better for the ticket holders. I applaud Grey Fox for being the first in this regard. Another reason they are at the top of the heap.

OK, the Official schedule is out and here is the link: http://www.greyfoxbluegrass.com/ws/pages/schedule.php You will note that there has been Meet-up time allocated at the Slow Jam tent from noon to 2pm on Thursday and 10:00 to 11:30am on Friday. and Saturday. This is very generous of the Grey Fox team. I haven't seen much talk up about this on any of the forums, but I hope some folks will come on out and we'll have a nice time.

You will note that the terms "Hangout" is used in the schedule, please be assured this is open to all forum users as a place to meet-up and enjoy each other. Hope to see you all there. Please spread the word.
