Well that was interesting...
They insist upon the French useage, who wish to reflect off something, whereas the English prefer to hit something.
Gotta love these stringbox folks!

I believe this is the technique used by Jean Carignan on his fabulous rendition of Hangman's Reel. Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT3DctGzUhI I like the pizzicato stuff too- looks like what he does requires both hands.
