More About Me

My goal is to teach students to instinctively play what they hear without the torment and time consumption of learning to read music. I specialize in old time fiddle tunes, waltzes and bluegrass fiddling. For memory purposes I write tablature showing the timing, fingering and bowing. When the student reaches the point where he/she can begin to play instinctively the learning is accelerated and written music can be done away with, allowing the student to develop his own preferred style.
