More About Me

I've been playing "Texas Style" old time fiddle since the 1970's. I learned first from my father and then a more advanced level of playing from an excellent old fiddler and teacher who passed away in 1988. My old fiddle teacher reminded me often that he was giving me a precious gift of the fiddle music and he expected me to pass it on. So, I am very willing to pass the music on to individuals who truly want to learn to play fiddle music for the sake of the music. After all, it is a precious gift. I travel between the eastern New Mexico area and the West Texas to South Texas area in my work and am willing to visit students as regularly as possible with personal lessons, while including online and CD exchange lessons as well.
