Over the last 18 months, a large amount of tools have been sold and have found new homes and users, as a result. Fortunately there is still a plethora of wood! Becker patented pegs from the 1880's. I have sold a couple of sets of these to hangout members over the years. I don't personally care for them, but some do. One full set and a bag of parts to make most of a second set. Spare parts are one of the keys to keeping these up and running. They are Bakelite and the finely threaded screw on the head side tightens and loosens the tension. Just don't tighten them too tight...that is why you need spare parts!

Well 1/4 sawn Brazilian Rosewood. All but two pieces are Sanded to 7/16" + or - just a touch, thick. The other two are sanded to 3/8" thick. The shortest piece is 6 - 7/8" long. You should be able to get around 50, steel string, Martin style bridge blanks. So at around $4.50 per blank, not a bad price. Plenty to cut book matched head stock plates from. The pieces with identical numbers are sets that book match. If you'd like to cut knife scale sets. Will ship to US lower 48 addresses only. I prefer PayPal. Thank you for looking, Phil

All three 1/4 sawn Brazilian Rosewood finger board and bridge blank sets. The FBs are all long enough for a banjo also. #s 98 and 99 are 20-3/8" long. #100 is 19-3/4" long. #98 = 2-1/2" wide. #99 = 2-1/4" wide. #100 = 2-5/8" wide. Thickness is #98 sanded to .228 with 320 grit on the face and 80 on the back. #99 sanded to .207 with 320 grit on both sides. # 100 sanded to .245 with 320 grit on the face and 80 on the back. Bridges sanded to #98 = 6-3/8" long x 1-13/16 wide x 3/8" thick. #99 = 6-5/16" x 1-13/16" x 3-8". #100 = 7-1/8" x 2-1/4" x 3/8". All the finger boards have one pinhole. You should be able to see them in the pictures. # 98 has a pit in the back that only goes .043" deep and should not effect the face at all. On the back of # 99 there is a spot at the 12-7/16" mark that is a very shallow check that doesn't go down into the edge. Not much of one, but I like to point out everything. #100 just looks good.
