Sound

Fast Old Time and Scottish Tunes. Bright sound not real loud but still breaking in. Has good resonance. Sounds as full as more expensive model three times the price. |

Setup
|
Set up from Eastman as a fiddle. I would recommend changing the tail piece. Fine tuners detract form the look and sound. Comes with a very light bow good for fast tunes but a little weak for long notes. |

Appearance
|
Very pretty back. Front has nice red grain. Fair finish in the "F" holes few noticeable flaws. Chin rest wasn't centered. |

Reliability
|
Hardware is pretty basic. Finish a little thin probably will wear quick. Sturdy enough not to need a spare. I would bring a spare bow. |

Lifetime Eastman warranty. Haven't dealt with the company but they have a good reputation. |

Great moderately priced fiddle. Advanced fiddle with good sound. After a year of playing it sounds like scottish pipes I love it! |
