My Instruments: I play a 1950s Maggini copy and lion's head 1 which sounds better than lion's head 2 (both of the lion's head with tongues).
Favorite Bands/Musicians: Emmett Lundy, Luther Strong, William Stepp, Melvin Wine, Ed Haley, French Carpenter, Members of the Hammons family, Doc White, Glen Smith, Wilson Douglas, Arthur Smith, and more.
This instrument has no neck block or corner blocks. The top is completely intact (i.e. no cut to all insertion of neck from above). This lion's head is pretty common, though the tongue is a bit different.

Wow I have One Just like this Tongue, Eagle and all just not in as good of Shape. Yours is the only other one like this I have seen. Do you know any thing about it? I play mine quite a bit.
